The intraoral camera is a sophisticated technology that captures unparalleled images of the interior of the mouth. In stunning detail, this handheld, light weight camera, takes video and still images and transmits them instantly to a computer. Together, the dentist and patient can view the images, allowing SCM Dental to achieve a high level of doctor/patient communication. In addition, still images and video can be stored in a patients digital dental record for future reference.

CEREC 3D-One visit crowns,porcelain restorations
CEREC is among the latest in dental technology, allowing our dentists to create dental crowns and other porcelain restorations in a single visit, in our office, while you wait. Traditional methods involve messy impressions, extensive preparation, uncomfortable temporaries and weeks of waiting while the restoration is being made at a dental lab. Using computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology, CEREC can create a dental crown or porcelain restoration to our doctors exact specifications.
In Office Porcelain Labortory-Custom Staining, Adjustments
The CEREC technology is complete with our in office porcelain laboratory, allowing us to create custom stains and make color adjustments for porcelain restorations such as dental crowns, porcelain veneers and dental bridges. We can match the color of a single visit crown to your natural teeth, or adjust the color of porcelain veneers created at a dental laboratory.

Rotary endodontics is an advanced technology and technique to perform root canals and other endodontic treatment, using an electric handpiece. Patients prefer treatment with rotary endodontics because there is no drill or scraping noise. Combined with dental sedation, the patient remains awake but relaxed throughout the procedure. The electric handpiece also allows our dentists to perform endodontic treatment more quickly and precisely.
